At Floral Haven Store, we want you to be as delighted with your plants as butterflies are with our milkweed. While we take every care in packaging your drought-resistant succulents and pollinator-friendly perennials, we understand that sometimes a return or exchange may be necessary.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items, provided they are in their original condition with all protective packaging intact. Like delicate crocus bulbs needing special care, some items have different requirements:

Note on Live Plants & Bulbs: To give your plants the best chance, we cannot accept returns on live plants, flower bulbs (including allium, crocus, and daffodil bulbs), or established perennials once they’ve left our nursery. These living treasures are as perishable as they are beautiful.

How to Initiate a Return

Our return process is as straightforward as planting one of our cottage garden favorites:

  1. Contact Us within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
  2. Wait for Approval – Our garden specialists will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
  3. Package Securely – Repack items in their original packaging, just as we protect our hummingbird mint for shipping
  4. Ship Back – Send the package to:

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. For your protection, we recommend using a trackable shipping service (like the DHL or FedEx services we use for deliveries).

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return (with the same care we give our deer-resistant varieties), we’ll process your refund within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal). Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

Exchange Policy

Prefer a different full sun plant or flowering vine? We’re happy to exchange most items within 30 days of purchase. Simply follow the return process above and note that you’d like an exchange in your email. We’ll include return shipping instructions for your new selection.

Non-Returnable Items

To protect our living inventory, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Live plants (including butterfly plants and cottage garden plants)
  • Flower bulbs (allium, crocus, daffodil, and other bulbs)
  • Personalized items
  • Items not in original condition (like opened seed packets)
